BC Virtual Health Grand Rounds: Hybrid Health Network (HHN) for First Nations & Rural Communities: RTVS 2.0 (postponed)
We would like to inform you that, due to unforeseen circumstances, this session has been postponed.
We will reach out once a new date for the RTVS 2.0 presentation is confirmed.
Join Dr. John Pawlovich and Dr. Kendall Ho for this quarterly session as they share exciting updates and new developments in the ongoing evolution of Real-Time Virtual Support (RTVS).
RTVS is a province-wide virtual support network that connects rural health-care providers — including physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, midwives, residents, and first responders — with experienced clinicians for real-time advice by phone or video. It supports emergency, urgent, and non-urgent care in communities with limited on-site resources, helping ensure patients receive timely, high-quality care close to home.
RTVS brings together virtual care and local services to bridge health-care gaps in rural and First Nations communities and is a partnership between the First Nations Health Authority, the Rural Coordination Centre of BC, the BC Ministry of Health, and UBC Digital Emergency Medicine.
