It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Tracy Pickett who died tragically on September 28th, 2023. We offer our deepest condolences to Tracy’s family and to her many friends and colleagues.
Tracy was an amazing person, full of positive energy and joy, who elevated those around her. Her dedication, advocacy, kindness and empathy inspired all who crossed paths with her. She was highly respected nationally and internationally and the impact of her work will be felt for years to come.
She accomplished so much as a practicing Emergency Physician for over 25 years (recently combined with Forensic Medicine), a Clinical Professor in the UBC Department of Emergency Medicine, and Medical Director for the BC Women’s Sexual Assault Service, in addition to having a loving family and many diverse personal interests.
She is and will be greatly missed.
