Need for Locums at Chetwynd ED
Chetwynd Hospital & Health Centre is in need of ongoing locums from early September onwards to the end of the year. Please contact Becky Temple (info below) directly for exact dates, as they change as shifts are filled.
Compensation
Flat-rate payment of $3,000 per 24-hours which includes all MSP, REEF, and MOCAP. Reasonable expenses are covered. The expectation is a minimum of three 24-hour shifts per set of travel expenses.
Chetwynd is a small hospital with a low volume ER – no local specialists and usually managed by Family Practice physicians. Inpatient admissions are managed by the admitting ER physician until an FP is available to take over (next morning or after the weekend). The closest higher level of care is just over 100km away.
