“I felt alone and didn’t know where to go or who to ask for help. I was feeling pretty hopeless and unsure about my future. My English teacher told me about Foundry Virtual BC’s services and helped me register for an account. It took a while for me to actually book an appointment, but when I finally did, I felt a sense of relief and support that I have never felt before. Since then, I have been speaking with a peer supporter and a counsellor and recently was referred to another program. Two months ago, I felt like there was nothing left for me, and now I feel like there is hope. “
– Youth client, Foundry Virtual BC services
As we understand that taking the first step is often the hardest part, service providers can support young people and their caregivers with accessing services through video, audio and chat options. All our services are free, confidential and no referrals are required.
Looking to support a young person with their next steps when leaving the emergency room? Our team of clinicians and peer supporters are here to support the young person to feel safe and supported with wrap around care. Consider sharing our app and virtual services as it seems fitting.
